Chef George Sears

Born in New York, George has traveled extensively throughout his life, ever expanding his palette as he explored such places as California, Colorado, Japan, Mexico, Alaska and Florida just to name a few. Chef George graduated with honors from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY in 2001. He has since continued to travel and work with some of the finest restaurants and chefs in the nation. He feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to work for such places as Cruise West, based out of Seattle, Washington. A grueling schedule to be sure, he acted as sous chef for these fine ships traveling the waters of the North Pacific. Some notable restaurants that have been fortunate enough to have George on their crew are Bambu and Rumi in Miami, Dean and Deluca in Napa Valley, and one of the top rated resorts in the nation, Dunton Hot Springs located close to Telluride Colorado. There, George acted as Executive Chef, preparing dishes that showcased his love and experience in the culinary arts, bringing into play flavors from around the world.
